William Houston replaces Iain Glen in Old Vic's Fortune's Fool

Iain Glen has been forced to withdraw from the Old Vic's production of Fortune's Fool due to illness.
A statement on the Old Vic's website says that Glen has been advised by his doctor to withdraw from the production. He will be replaced by RSC regular William Houston.
In the meantime, Glen's understudy Patrick Cremin is playing the role of Kuzovkin, as Houston prepares to take over.
Iain Glen's extensive theatre credits include The Crucible (RSC/West End), Hedda Gabler (Almeida/West End), A Streetcar Named Desire (National), The Blue Room (Donmar/Broadway), Martin Guerre (West End), Henry V (RSC), Macbeth (Tron Theatre), Hamlet (Bristol Old Vic) and Road (Royal Court).
Houston has played Troilus in Troilus and Cressida as well as the title roles in Henry V and Coriolanus, all for the RSC. His film credits include Sherlock Holmes and Elizabeth: the Golden Age.
Lucy Bailey's production of Ivan Turgenev's Russian satire, which also stars Richard McCabe, continues at the Old Vic until 22 February 2014.
