We Will Rock You is to head out on a tour of the UK and Ireland in 2019, it has been confirmed.

The show has been reimagined for the new tour, which will kick off in September next year. Tickets are on sale now.

We Will Rock You first opened in London in 2002 and toured the UK in 2010, 2011 and 2013. Despite getting luke-warm reviews from critics, the show became the 15th longest running in West End history, running at the Dominion Theatre for 12 years. Over 15 million theatregoers have now seen the show worldwide.

The musical features songs from Queen's back catalogue including included in the piece are "We Are The Champions", "Radio Ga Ga", "I Want To Break Free", "Somebody To Love", "Killer Queen", "Don't Stop Me Now", "Under Pressure", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Another One Bites The Dust" and "We Will Rock You".

Cities on the current tour include Bromley (beginning the tour on the 16 September), Ipswich, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Derry, Dublin, Southend, Leeds, Nottingham, Plymouth, Glasgow, Blackpool, Hull, Southampton, Manchester, Aberdeen, Bradford, Canterbury, Oxford, Llandudno, Bristol, Milton Keynes, Liverpool, Cardiff, Birmingham, Norwich, Northampton, Bournemouth and Stoke (ending the tour in May 2020).
