Rehearsal images have been released showing Dominic Cooper and the cast of ''The Libertine' 'in rehearsals .

Written by Stephen Jeffreys, Cooper plays John Wilmot, the second Earl of Rochester and a hedonistic poet and playwright. It is directed by Terry Johnson.

The cast also includes Ophelia Lovibond, Mark Hadfield, Jasper Britton, Will Barton, Cornelius Booth, Will Merrick and Richard Teverson.

The Libertine runs at Theatre Royal Bath from 31 August to 17 September before transferring to Theatre Royal Haymarket from 27 September to 3 December.
