A first look at Orlando Bloom and the cast of Killer Joe in rehearsals has been released.

The images show Bloom alongside Steffan Rhodri, Neve McIntosh, Adam Gillen and Sophie Cookson all preparing for their turns in Tracy Letts' play, directed by Simon Evans.

Bloom stars as Joe Cooper, a policeman who is also a hitman in the 25 year-old piece. It focuses on Joe and his relationship with innocent young girl Dottie. The play was adapted into a film in 2011 starring Matthew McConaughey.

Designs for the revival are by Grace Smart, with lighting by Richard Howell, compositions and sound design by Edward Lewis.
