Arinzé Kene's Misty extends at Trafalgar Studios

The well-received show, which premiered at the Bush, will now run through to November

Arinzé Kene's Misty will extend its run at Trafalgar Studios, it has been confirmed.

Originally scheduled to run until 20 October, the piece will now continue through until 17 November in the West End. Oscar nominated actor Daniel Kaluuya joined Kene and Anthony Welsh to announce the extension.

After initially running at the Bush Theatre, the piece transferred to the Studios this month, with WhatsOnStage critic Daisy Bowie-Sell describing the West End production as "clever, affecting and truthful work".

Kene is both a playwright and actor, with credits including the Bob Dylan musical Girl From the North Country as well as The Pass opposite Russell Tovey and Been So Long opposite Michaela Coel. where he stars as Joe. His previous plays include Good Dog, which ran at Watford Palace Theatre last year.

Misty has direction by Omar Elerian, design by Rajha Shakiry, lighting by Jackie Shemesh, sound by Elena Peña, dramaturgy by Kirsty Housely, video design by Daniel Denton with music by Shiloh Coke and Adrian McLeod. The role of Little Girl is played by Mya Napoleon / Rene Powell and Sedonna Henok
