Lee Mack to join Griff Rhys Jones in The Miser
The popular TV actor and comedian makes his West End debut in the 2017 revival
Comedian Lee Mack will join Griff Rhys Jones in the upcoming revival of Moliere's The Miser.
Best known for his work as a stand-up comedian, TV personality and sitcom star, Mack will make his stage debut next year.
Sean Foley directs the new production which begins in Bath before touring to Richmond. It will then run at the Garrick Theatre in the West End from 1 March, with an official opening night scheduled for 13 March. Foley, who is responsible for this new adaptation of the Moliere classic along with Phil Porter, is also the director of the current West End revival of Ronald Harwood's The Dresser starring Reece Shearsmith and Ken Stott.
Mack writes and stars in the popular BBC sitcom Not Going Out, is a regular team captain on Would I Lie To You, and frequently appears on Have I Got News For You? and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

The Miser runs at the Garrick Theatre from 1 March until 3 June 2017
