Casting announced for Big the Musical

Further casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Big the Musical. Joining Jay McGuiness in the European premiere will be Denise Van Outen, Diana Vickers, Gary Wilmot and Irwin Sparkes.
Van Outen will play Mrs Baskin, Vickers is Susan Lawrence, Wilmot is George MacMillan and Sparkes will be Paul.
The production opens at Plymouth Theatre Royal on 5 November before transferring to Bord Gais Energy Theatre over Christmas ahead of a West End run.
The show is a musical adaptation of the classic film starring Tom Hanks as a boy who wishes to be big and turns into an adult.
With a book by John Wiedman, the show features songs by David Shire and Richard Maltby. Choreography is from Morgan Young.
Big the Musical runs at Theatre Royal Plymouth from 5 to 12 November.
