The British Theatre Academy have announced their 2018 summer season which will move from its usual home at the Ambassadors Theatre.
The season will kick off in Southwark Playhouse's small space with David Wood's stage adaptation of Michelle Magorian's Second World War novel Goodnight Mr Tom (25 July to 25 August).
Directed and choreographed by Ewan Jones, cheerleading musical Bring It On, which has music by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, will play the large space at Southwark Playhouse from 2 August to 1 September.
Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakening, will run at The Stockwell Playhouse from 14 to 19 August. Based on Frank Wedekind's 1891 play of the same name, it tells of teenagers discovering their sexuality and will be directed by Dean Johnson.
Completing the season will be a unique production of Kander and Ebb's Chicago at the open air Minack Theatre in Cornwall (24 to 28 September.)
