Actress Morag Siller dies aged 46

The ”Coronation Street” star has died of breast cancer

Stage and screen actress Morag Siller has passed away at the age of 46.

The actress died last week following a five-year battle with breast cancer.

Siller's extensive career includes playing Reverend Esther Warren in Coronation Street, and her work covered stage, radio, film and television.

AHA Talent Agency released a statement regarding the actress's death: "Morag will be remembered for her extraordinary warmth, generosity and mischievous sense of humour as well as the fearless determination she displayed as she fought cancer whilst simultaneously raising tens of thousands of pounds for local charities.

"She was a truly inspirational person who we are incredibly proud to have represented. We will miss her hugely."

Siller recently appeared in Hamlet at the Barbican alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. She also starred on stages including Shakespeare's Globe and performed in Les Miserable and Mamma Mia!.
