Don’t Look Up Bring Tin Girl to Studio Salford

Don’t Look Up presents a unique and magical piece of theatre that fuses physical storytelling, poetry and song with live music. Tin Girl Story is a dark enchanting tale about a young girl who finds herself in a fantastical world of tin and frog princes, as she shares her quest to find a meaning to her new world.

Andy Rogers (Assistant Director Royal Exchange) directs the production which is a collaboration between up and coming Manchester actress and writer Kate Gilbert with composer and double bass player Michael Cretu who also plays during the piece.

Don’t Look Up was formed in 2007 with the intention of building a platform for original work with an interest in the female perspective. They have previously brought work to audiences at Manchester Royal Exchange as part of SFX, Green Room,  Studio Salford and the John Thaw Studio.

Tin Girl Story is at the Studio Salford from 6 – 9 April
