Umi Myers is a British/Jamaican actor, who trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She can most recently be seen as breakout star of BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE (2024) as Cindy Breakspeare, and as a lead in DOPE GIRLS (2025) for BBC.

In film, Umi will be seen in gothic thriller MĀRAMA, an independent feature film, where she plays a lead character. MĀRAMA is the story of a young Māori woman’s fight to reclaim her identity and indigenous culture in Victorian-era Britain.

Umi’s television credits include Sony Pictures and Bad Wolf production DOPE GIRLS (2025) for BBC1 where she plays Billie Cassidy. The series is based on a true story, depicting in visceral delicious detail the birth of the modern nightlife industry guided and gilded by hard fought female endeavour. Other TV credits include GET MILLIE BLACK (2024) an HBO/Channel 4 series.

Her theatre credits include Hilary mantel’s THE MIRROR & THE LIGHT (Gielgud Theatre) and AN OCTOROON (Abbey Theatre).
