Draco Malfoy and Scorpius Malfoy cast in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
Images of Draco Malfoy and Scorpius Malfoy have been released ahead of the first previews of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Alex Price will play Draco Malfoy and Anthony Boyle will play Scorpius Malfoy, his son, in the eighth story in the Harry Potter series. The plays begin their run at the Palace Theatre this month.
This is the third in a series of portraits released by producers, after images of the Harry Potter family and the Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger family were released earlier this week.
Written by Jack Thorne and directed by John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I and II take up where the seventh book finished in JK Rowling's saga about the boy wizard.
The plays follow the trials of a Harry Potter who works in the Ministry of Magic with a wife and three kids nineteen years later. His youngest son, Albus, is struggling with his family legacy.
Previews begin on 7 June 2016 at the Palace Theatre and throughout the run on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays both shows will be performed with a matinee performance of part one and an evening performance of part two. The press performances will be on Saturday 30 July.
