Hey Folks

Rage is the brand new play from Vertigo Theatre Productions, the company who gave you the hit play 'M' and the UK Premiere of 'Dog Sees God; Confessions Of A Teenage Blockhead'

Manchester’s premier fringe company present Rage, a new play surrounding the terrifying yet all too common events of High School and College shootings.

Rage tells the story of a group of college students who two hours before were targeted by a fellow student on campus as he went on a rampage through the halls of the college shooting his fellow classmates. Now on lockdown on the campus and with several students forced in to the same room, the group begin to try and process what just happened and ask who is to blame.

With tempers flaring and emotions running high, the finger of blame points to everything from America's gun culture, mental health, the media, violence in entertainment, but most importantly at bullying and high school and college cliques - and it's not long before the students realize that their own actions can have terrible consequences. Throughout all this debate between the group the students get a constant reminder of how real it is and how their lives will never be the same again after today.

Written and directed by Craig Hepworth and Adele Stanhope

I saw the show Dog Sees God - Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead! missed Rage and wondered if it is still around in theaters - how did it do critically?

Yes the play divided people, we always thought it would
The public reviews hated it (but also thought it was theatre verbatim which it wasnt) and What's On Stage raved which was great

I think we had some problems with Rage (running time, and some of the questions being too one sided) but overaul we were proud of the work we did and have had another venue wanting to take the show which is great, i could also not be more proud of my cast who worked on that show who deliverd some powerful performances.

However its onwards and upwards for us with our next play 'OUT' a new gay drama
