Just checking in from the Young Vic to say that Annie Get Your Gun opens in a week and a half. It sounds good from outside the rehearsal room but I haven't seen any of the run throughs yet.

The set is going up and cast and crew seem happy. Its the longest run of a show the Young Vic has ever done so plenty of time to catch it!

I'm booked for Thursday 7th I think it is. I really wanted to attend the WOS trip with the Q&A at the end, but I had a prior engagement, gutted!

Great see you there! I'm going on the 7th too - you might have missed the whatsonstage night but at least you got in when there were cheap preview seats!

I walked into the auditorium yesterday and all of a sudden there was a huge set which was quite a surprise as the day before it was filled with rubble!

Cool. There's so much opening in the next couple of months, that my wallet was quite grateful for the cheaper tickets! All the more money to spend on a calamari burger before the show... ;-)

Hi Ron - I don't think it will be possible to extend as there is another show coming in hot on its heels. It does just creep into 2010 though and finishes on 2nd Jan if that's any use!

And applesarenice and Velma i'm glad the facebook link is useful - I try and get as much goss and news on there as I can...
