Go and see Next to Normal - it's amazing. Sad, funny, uplifting and exhilarating. Admittedly it's not for
everyone. The elderly ladies behind me remarked 'I see why they call it a new musical - it was very loud
and certainly not a comedy'.

How do you make a great show about manic depression - go and see. I only hope they keep Alice Ripley for
the London version - she's fantastic.

Just back from NYC where I saw this amazing show. Anyone on the inside heard rumours about a London
opening? If so let's hope they keep Alice Ripley in the lead. She's fantastic

I hope there are rumours, I'm a long time fan of this show and have followed it since it was Feeling Electric, and I'd simply die if it came over biggrin.gif

I saw it some where on some DVD someone gave me (shh) and I absolutely LOVED it! The whole cast is amazing, the music's beautiful and the story is very good. The lyrics can be super average sometimes ~
I hope it comes to London with Alice Ripley and Aaron Tveit (mainly cuz I'm super in love with him recently)

I saw it twice in nyc this past week.

It takes a lot for me to appriciate the hype around something. With Alice Ripley, I totally get it.

It was beautiful. She was beautiful.

I sooo want this to come over. I'd love to see Alice and Aaron come with it but I'm sure there are British guys that could be awesome in it too....

Don't do this to me!!! Just finally kicked my Spring Awakening habit and now you have given me a new musical to get obsessed with and a new soundtrack to try and find the money to buy!! I can only find it on ITunes for £12 :-(
