<FONT size=3>Dear Friends,

Are you sitting comfortably with a cup of tea & a biscuit? - it's a bit of a saga.

As you will see from this piece from the Nottingham Evening Post;

http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/homenews/Mum-son-set-Trafalgar-Square-statue-double/article-1153642-detail/article.html
on Sunday at 4pm I will be on the 4th Plinth on Trafalgar Square.

When the 'One and Other' draw took place for slots for July there were over 15,500 applicants. Out of those, only 41 slots were allocated in the East Midlands. My son & I got two of these.

As we 'defied the odds' by being selected - and our ideas whilst on the Plinth are unique and quirky - we have been approached by the SKY TV documentary makers to be featured.

I was trying to think of a further way to make my slot more exciting (to draw attention / raise more funds) and I thought I'd have lively music playing the background.

Thinking it through I thought it would be even BETTER to have live music.

That is where I make my appeal to you.

If you are free for an hour on Sunday afternoon and you would care to be part of this exciting project I could offer you

(1) an hour of live streaming on;

http://www.oneandother.co.uk/

(2) the opportunity to be part of the SKY TV Documentary

(3) the opportunity to enjoy sharing your talent by performing in public

(4) the opportunity to help us to raise some much-needed funds

(5) the opportunity to be immortalised for all eternity as the event is being kept in the National Archives!

We have a super PA system so you'd just need to bring a CD and sing / dance, either alone or as a part of a group.

As the Registered Charity I founded fifteen years ago (Pet Bereavement Support Group) is probably the least glamorous one ever (plus all the Trustees & Volunteers are ugly too) it is extremely difficult for us to attract any sponsorship so we raise all our funds ourselves.

Please access our Website for further details:

http://www.yvettesbook.com/

As you will see, if you click on the thumbnails 'National Pet Month' and 'One and Other' we tend to do more unusual fund-raising events. We found this method not only raises awareness of our services but also, raises more funds.

If you fit my criteria;

(a) are talented

(cool.gif are free from 4pm to 5pm on Sunday

© would appreciate the opportunity to participate in this once in a lifetime experience I'd love to hear from you.

If you could please PM me we can make arrangements.

I'd be delighted to read any participants names out whilst I'm on the Plinth (in thanks) and if you'd consider making a donation I'd gladly read you out a dedication to a loved one, abuse your enemies etc.

Please could you pass on this message to anyone you think might be interested?

Thanking you in anticipation

Yvette Price-Mear

It's nice to see you are doing something for charity, but what will YOU be doing while everyone else is singing and dancing around you?

Singing some songs too? Perhaps by the Artist formerly known as Plinth?
I wouldn't say a word that could be reckoned as injurious,
But to find a mother younger than her son is very curious,
And that's the kind of mother that is usually spurious.

I suffer with vertigo so probably curled up in a heap quivering!

Once I get my confidence I'll be reading excerpts from my Books (to encourage sales therefore raise more funds) and explaining about the services our Charity offers.

Good one, that made me laugh out loud.

How many years have you waited to use that joke?

What a perfect opportunity!
