I've just been doing some booking for the months ahead and I have to say that Ambassador Tickets is by far the best online service. The fact that you can choose your seats from a seating plan and that the discounts are available just by entering a code is great.

I think all other theatre chain sites should do this. Delfont Mackintosh, Nimax and See for the Really Useful theatres. It would make such a difference. Your thoughts...

I would utterly love to book tickets for things online if there was a way of doing it and being able to pick my seat, but sadly RUG don't appear to be doing that So box office (inconvenient) and Theatremonkey it is for now.

I enjoy the Delfont Mackintosh online booking experience, but it would be greatly improved if I could pick my own seat. For now, I'll stick with the RSC and the NT. And the Globe, where I give 'em my £5 then fight for my spot on the day. XD The Ambassador site is pretty good, but regularly flummoxes my elderly PC, so doesn't quite manage to score top marks.
