I don't understand how she can be breakthrough if she's already established.. Wouldn't best takeover have made more sense?.. Well done to her anyway

now don't get me wrong, absolutely delighted she won! go kerry smile.gif butttt......did she *cough* really deserve it?? unsure.gif now i didn't see her at all so this is just something that popped into my head but from what i heard was she not out sick a bit and her voice wasn't as good as it was when she was in the west end?? Although i did hear that her acting came on leaps and bounds so maybe she did deserve it! oh i just went a whole circle with this post.........

I saw her twice when she was in New York (was out there for the Summer...) I didn't think her voice was as good as I've heard it in London but would agree that the acting was better. On the whole I felt that there were some fantastic performers (Aaron Tveit and Jayne Houdyshell especially) but that the company was a bit lacklustre. I didn't see any of the others that were nominated in her category though so don't know what she was up against for the award...
