Well worth a visit before it closes on the 14th - highly charged and at time shocking - one of the best Macbeth's I have personally seen!

I plan to see this on the last night. It does sound good, especially with the modern updates. Is the production's language readily understandable? - whenever I see a Shakespeare I always have to try to overcome the language barrier! A good Shakespeare production presents scenes in such a way that you understand it even though you may not follow or understand every word.

Probably the best Shakespeare I've been to see (better than the RSC Hamlet even last year). Such inventiveness that at times was breathtaking. The modern update of the play shows that Shakespeare has written plays that resound throughout the ages.
Having film footage of an empty seat while Macbeth clearly sees Banquo's ghost at the table.
Lady Macbeth's 'out damned spot' being obseved in a pyschiatric unit
Three witches writhing to pop songs whilst tormenting and provoking Macbeth
Emails and text messages used to deliver news
...just a few of the examples to show the excellent updates of the production. And, a newspaper review already mentioned it, but the end was uncannily like Obama going out to greet his crowds. This was a Shakespeare for our times and it was bloody (literally!) brilliant.
(Thanks laughingmonsta, I used your opinion to help me decide to book)

doubt it! the exchange doesn't seem to do a great deal of transfers, plus with a cast size of over 20 people it may not be the cheapest production to tour!
