I think he's been signed off this week as he's not well, but is currently expected to return on Tuesday

Does anyone else find his "American" accent atrocious? Personally I think his interpretation of Galileo falls far short of previous Galileos- MiG, Tony, Peter, Jason Wooten (Las Vegas) ?

I understand those who may not have previously seen We Will Rock You with anyone else but Ricardo may disagree with this statement- but I cringed the whole way through seeing the show with Ricardo. His acting is incredibly two dimensional (even for the two dimensionally acted show)

His redeeming factor is undoubtably the power of his vocals, but I can't help hoping this year will be his last in the show. I mean he hardly looks like his playing age- a 17/18 year old high school student?!!!

It can't be easy putting an American accent on over his Portuguese one.

I never quite understood why Galileo needs an accent in the first place.... Is it just because Tony was the first?

I totally agree. I actually like Ricardo's accent doing the part. It's not perfect American but it's just the right accent for the part. As the above poster said, who says Galileo has to be American?
