I know it's a very delicate subject but I still thought that someone may have commented upon the current situation.

Although I'm the same age as George and was aware of him, I never really had an opinion on him - until I saw 'Taboo'.

The lyrics, especially in 'Petrified', show that he is why he is because of what's happened to him (stating the obvious, aren't we all!) so I have some modicum of sympathy.

Having seen him since then both in Taboo and in Concert a couple of times I have respect for him as an Entertainer. Obviously one feels for his victim (that does go without saying) but I also feel for his very talented friends who must be reeling from the news of his imprisonment.

Sorry if I've opened a can of worms but I just wondered if others had an opinion?
