I can't believe it, me and my friends have spent just under £300 to travel to london to see Ryan in the Jersey Boys for the 19th Feb, and we've just looked on Ryans website and found out that hes not going to b performing.
Devastated!!!!!

Can understand your disappointment Beckyboo (I am a big fan of Ryan) but I think its sad that you're not going to be seeing the show now based on this. Jersey Boys is a great show and by not going you will miss the performances of all the other talented members of this cast, not just Ryan Molloy. The same thing has happened to me and there was no way that I still wouldn't have gone to see the show. The thing is, you could get to the theatre on the night and find that Ryan wasn't performing at short notice for some reason - it could always happen no matter when you book tickets. Having said all that I do feel disappointed for you and hope you get to see him someday soon! smile.gif

While I'm sad for you I also feel that unfortunately it's one of those things but I'd recomend going with an open mind. I had the same thing happen when Idina Menzel was in Wicked but was completely blown away by Kerry Ellis- give Jye a go aparently he's brilliant!

I flew to NY to see Idina's final Wicked. Anyone who's versed in the show will know what happened then. Shoshana Bean was fierce though, and it was still awesome to see the show. smile.gif

DOn her final but 1 performance. during the melting scene Idina fell through the hole and broke her ribs so was unable to perform what was meant to be her final show

What a shame you will not be seeing the show at all. I agree Ryan is amazing as Frankie as is Scott and feel you would enjoy the show were you to make the effort to go as like others have pointed out you could find on the day that someone was off sick and these things are unavoidable.
