OVATION presents
INTO THE WOODS by Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine
A Fairytale Musical

That's the only info so far on http://www.upstairsatthegatehouse.com/

If you look at Layout Design and Tech Space you get quite a feel for the venue.

Dont forget Woods is also on at the Landor over Christmas along with Night Music at the Chocolate Factory and Saturday Night is on in the Spring at Jermyn Stree Theatre biggrin.gif
“The staff are really exited too. Everyone’s giving me a little, doing a little that, when I walk past in the corridor, eyebrow raise thing, when usually they look away.”

The Landor announced in in their mail-out ages ago. Why wouldn't they get the rights? They've done it twice before and their Follies a couple of years ago was stunning

I agree!.... Follies was fab!... really loved it.

rights laws.....
you can't do the same professional show at the same time..... otherwise every producer would be doing Chicago or Grease!

oh well!.... I'll be seeing the show wherever it is!!!

Surely it's up to the rights-holder who is allowed to do shows? With a show like Into the Woods there are a dozen different productions every year (not including schools version). I've certainly seen both that and Assassins very close together before now - in fact both the Landor and the Man in the Moon did Assassins in the same month a few years ago and I definitely remember one of them selling out.

Racky Plews is directing.

Cast won't be confirmed for a good few weeks yet though - they don't start auditions til the last week of Oct.
whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should
