i had booked sometime ago and was expecting lyn paul. however there had been a cast change and former x factor niki king is now playng mrs j - i was VERY disappointed when i opened the programme and saw who it was. according to her bio she has no acting experience, and my friend and i were not looking forward to the show

however........................

niki king is absolutely AMAZING! she is the best mrs j i have EVER seen (and i have seen a fair few!) - she can act and her voice is amazing. she was slightly nervous ( i think that this was just her second performance) and she talked quickly in a couple of parts in the first act, but she was simply brilliant

the rest of the cast were on top form as well. this is the best cast i have ever seen - they all worked really well together

special praise for richard reynard (eddie), stephen palfriman (micky) and louise davidson (mrs lyons) who was fabulous - this is the first time i have ever turely believed that mrs lyons lost her marbles and went a bit mad!

this is brilliant and i can only imagine that niki king will get better and better!

It's actually Niki Evans, not Niki King...

yes - niki's surname is evans.

i've heard rather fabulous things unanimously so far. i hear mr kenwright made his first visit to the show for some time for her first show and was somewhat blown away...
whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should

Thanks for the posting Millie. I have tickets booked for Jan 3rd and was also disappointed when I heard the cast change announcement (as I hoped it was going to be Lyn Paul (who is always superb) in the role). Looking forward to seeing the New Mrs J after reading your feedback.
