Talked about her hot husband, trying to get the green off fast as tom cruise was waiting to meet her and paul went on and on about wicked, she talked up her album which she also sang from.

She mentioned that her album is being released in the coming weeks, is this 'I Stand'? I bought this at dress circle months ago and she signed it? hmmm

both the interview and the performance are on Youtube. She is in the middle of a promotional push for the release of the UK version of the album. There's a performance on 'This Morning' coming up in the next week or so I think.

Hi!
Does anyone know the date that Idina Menzel is coming back to "Wicked" for one night only? I have some friends going to see it soon and would love to know if they are going to get to see her.

Many thanks.

Emma

I think you might have been given duff information Emma. I have seen most of her recent interviews and she hasn't made any mention of a one night only return to Wicked. I think they are having some sort of celebration for 5 years of Wicked in the US, but as far as I know, she hasn't been announced as performing in that even. Given that her album has just been launched over here and she is doing concerts of her own stuff in the US before Christmas, I would think it would be REALLY unlikely that she would have time to go back into rehearsal for Wicked. But the good news is that the current Elphaba is meant to be top notch, so your friends will love it anyway.

I think you mean "For One Night Only". The show she was on on ITV at the weekend.

And Kerry Ellis is back from 1st December, which is more than enough to get excited about!
