Does anyone know when and where the Watermil Sunset Boulevard will be going in the West End?

Thanks!

I believe it is possibly heading into the Comedy, but that contracts are still being confirmed. Fingers crossed, I enjoyed it tremendously at the Watermill.

As I never got to see it, can anyone let me know what instrument the leads ended up playing?

I don't know, but I'm sure the choice of instrument for each character was artistic rather than pragmatic and brings a new depth of understanding to this psychological drama.
Ooh, that Bernadette Shaw - what a chatterbox!

I thought Alexander Evans as Sheldrake was excellent too. Who would have thought that someone accompaning himself on a cello would be so good? Great stuff!

But Kathryn Evans doesn't play anything as Norma. She is the only one who doesn't. Ben Goddard doesn't play a lot as Joe, but did play a bit of keyboard. And I think he played a little flute too.

But I would like to think that there might be a transfer, but I don't think there has been any genuinely substantive rumour.
But ALW obviously couldn't wait for the Canadian Maria thing to finish before seeing it. And he must have thought the round trip was worthwhile because he was apparently hugely complimentary. I wouldn't be at all surprised if something isn't arranged in a hurry. But general staff at the theatre itself don't seem to be aware of anything yet at least.

Sunset Boulevarde is the best musical ALW has ever written in my opinion - much better than Phantom!
