Sad news reported on Playbill - the death of Estelle Getty aged 84. Hard to imagine The Golden Girls without the wisecracks of Sophia which thankfully will live on through the media which finally brought her success. Hope the awfulness of these past few years are now behind her and thank you Estelle for making us laugh in a way which will never be forgotten.
