I came across this when I typed "Has Russell Watson ever performed in an opera?" into Google. It's amusing, in my opinion.

I hope there aren't any real fans on this site - Mrs Senza talento does a fine line in disingenuous outrage - that site's really cheered me up! How long until Ms Jenkins' lawyers find out?

It's done so well that any court case would be equally joyous!

The site may be hilarious, but have you seen some of the responses to the articles? This site is potentially lethal for pompous opera snobs!

Thought I'd bump this thread, given La Jenkins's new prominence on ITV.

You don't have to be a pompous opera snob to recognise that La Jenkins is an insult to decent classical singers everywhere! sad.gif

Seb

PS I confess that I was fooled the first time I went on the site as it is almost indistinguishable from Jenkins' own publicity!!

Oh don't be such a pompous opera snob. Live and let live, eh? She's not provoking a nuclear holocaust and she gives my mother a great deal of pleasure.
With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
