There seems to be a one night event of this show happening at the theatre where Bob Carlton who wrote it is based. Anyone know who is taking part? I love this show, they should bring it back on tour or into town.

I believe no cast will be announced as it won't be known until a couple of days before who will be attending.

It is a concert version of RTTFP, taking place at Queens Theatre Hornchurch to mark Bob Carlton having been there ten years. Many of the Cut to the Chase company that appear there regularly in shows are veterans of RTTFP in the west end and on tour, so they will presumably be the core of the concert. It is a gala performance to raise funds for the theatre, so tickets are £40, I think including champagne beforehand, a special souvenir programme, and a buffet post-show. As Bob himself is directing, it should be a good night, and hopefully much better than that feeble tour that went out from Basingstoke a couple of years ago.

All details have been taken off the Queen's Theatre website and from what I understand the event has been cancelled.

Far as I know, the concert is still on. It is still showing on the Calendar on the Queens website, with a link to the page all about it. I have had my booking acknowledged and received the tickets with a further page of info about the night in the envelope.

I'm not going to that event but I absolutely love that show. It's long overdue a tour or West End slot, it's fantastic.

The Planet Gala concert is still on, no official line up has been announced but from the few I have heard of it will be a fab night. some from the 2001 & 2002 tour and some from earlier tours as well as original cast members from the west end.

I cant wait for Sunday night. lets hope Bob brings the show back for 2009!

I''d love to see it again. It's one of my favourites. I still haven't seen From A Jack To A King though.
