Did anyone see this show the Barbican?

Now it's coming to the West End - is it worth seeing?

YES. The cast are amazing, I'd say they're the strongest cast and most talented group of performers I've seen bar none (including all West End/Broadway shows I've seen) Joanna Francis is phenomenal as Else.

It's not the best show plot wise but it's worth going to just to hear their harmonies wub.gif the vocals were incredible.

Definitely worth seeing for the songs and the talented singing, and now that Marlon King (who was in the original production in 2006) is back it's even more worth seeing as his voice is amazing specially with 'Rivers of Babylon'.

May not be the strongest of stories in the world but with songs like this you just feel like you're at a great concert so yeah go see it.

For what it's worth check out whatsonstage's review of it at the barbican, they gave it top marks and seemed to rave about it so if you think this website has good reviews then yes it's a got to see show.

Yes I would agree the show is amazing. The band is brilliant. The show and seting really depict how things are in the "Hard Time Style".. would not know who to fault in the show.. just brilliant..Will go again and take family this time

Saw this at Stratford East when it first opened two years ago. It was amazing then and no doubt it is still fantastic. Quite different for the West End - a refreshing change.

It has changed since Stratford East, it's gotten shorter but kept the body of the story and it's more streamlined
