It says on the website for Phantom of the Opera in London that there is an alternate Phantom, Nic Greenshields. Can anyone tell me which days he goes on?

Thanks!

Nic Greenshields is standby (walk-in cover) Phantom, Sam Hiller is the in-house cover.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does that just mean that Sam Hiller is in or near the theatre all the time and Nic Greenshields is just who they call if Sam Hiller can't do it?

sam hiller plays m.andre so he is in the theatre every night unless he is ill obviously at which his understudy takes over. I am pretty sure they call nic greenshields if ramin is ill, and if nic is ill then sam hiller goes on and his understudy fills his place.
Hope that helps

All of a sudden I want to see Phantom again after all these years... Nic Greenshields singing Phantom? I'd love to hear that!

Nic is a great Phantom, you should see him!

Nic Greenshields is brilliant as the Phantom and his next scheduled dates are 3rd June and 5th-7th June. smile.gif

Sam Hiller only plays the Phantom if both Ramin and Nic are unavailable. I believe he has only played the role a handful of times since becoming the understudy.
