This is part of the Peter Hall Company 2008 season. It stars Alison Steadman & is directed by Christopher Luscombe. Has anyone ever seen this play before?

I haven't seen it but i know it did a sell out run in York last year.

Saw original London production (early 80s) with Joan Plowright, Colin Blakely and Liz Smith. Not the usual Bennett teritory as far as I recall

I saw it in Nottingham Playhouse about a decade ago. I remember a fantastic set where a terrace house suddenly becomes part of a museum. I was only a young thing when I saw it, so I can't remember much, except that it's about the Leeds back-to-back houses and gentrification. James Bolan was in it, I think. Thoroughly enjoyed it, that much I DO remember!

This production was on at watford last year! Got fantastic reviews.
New cast for the transfer though.
Come on i thought you were theatre buffs. Pay attention.
