As far as I know this is still on, and should begin previews in October. The NT hasn't officially announced the autumn season yet, so that's probably why there's no info on their website. And am I the only one who wonders why these announcements come later and later? For instance, the booking for the summer season won't open until this week, and they only mailed that info out to members last week.

These days I normally receive all the info about what's on after the booking opens so thank goodness for all that chat that goes on here that tips me off.

i quite agree

consider the donmar, eno, rsc and even birmingham rep 'come out' months in advance why not the NT

I like to know, its very handy for planning trips in advance and it does keep you excited

Thanks for telling us that the mailing has gone out - I was wondering when I was going to get it. What with the Donmar asking us to book 12 months ahead and the RSC having its very long booking time, why does it take The National so long? With the internet and all, people must book from abroad and you prob have to arrange your hols in good time without being able to book a National production. They should, excuse the expression, get their act together.

Yes, it's curious why the NT seems to move in the other direction, and it's a real pain when you live abroad as it makes it difficult to plan. I know roughly what they'll be putting on, but not the exact dates of individual performances for each production, so I'll have to book my summer holiday in the blind and just hope that what I want to see is 1) playing that week at all and 2) that it does so on a date that I haven't already bought a ticket for something else for.

But the leaflets for the summer season should either be in the mail, or about to be posted, as the plan is that (UK) members should have it by the end of this week, and the next members' booking period then opens on the 12th, which is also strange - when did new booking periods open on a Saturday?!?
