I'm not one to usually question anyone regarding their casting choices, but really! Britney Spears? Personal, real life trauma does not necessarily make one appropriate for a particular part. Personally, i think it would throw off the balance of play - getting older, loosing one's looks are also a part of Blanche. You would have to feel that she has used up all her chances in life. If she is under 30 (and you know she is under 30 which is the problem with stunt casting) I wouldn't care and would just wish her to get over it.
