Don't say anything negative, because some fan will pop up to tell you that you're just jealous.
In my opinion anyone interested in improving himself should not rule out becoming pure energy.

Is it a musical sequel to Freaky Friday? Oh, no, silly me, that would be Freaky Saturday. laugh.gif

LOL this thread is amusing me. . thanks guys! wink.gif

and, freaky fans are. . freaky but just let them get on with it, the people they are "freaking" over can see it to, so as long as your not behaving in the same way, its not an issue!

Now I was picturing a risqué production of The Mikado .........
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist

do you ever feel like you're the only 'normal' on at a stage door?! and people just assume your one of the crazy ones just cos you;re there, even though you're not? although i agree, the people who are being freaking over can usually work out whos who.

Are there any normals at the stage door??
Why do people wait there.?
TO get a glimpse of their favourite performer after a long days work and with no make-up on.......................that path leads only to disappointment.
Maybe to say "Well Done" personally to them. the screaming cheering and unwarrented standing ovations in the theatre werent enough then? Or maybe they would like the performer to remember them if they ever met them again ( or in scary cases...again and again and again etc etc etc)

Sorry cant see the appeal myself!

Ah, bless the freaky fans of this world.

But if you are one, and reading this, please take note.

We are normal people doing our job. The last thing we want at the end of a hard night's work is someone trying to become our friend.

Do not bring us gifts. This freaks us out.

Try another hobby, perhaps one where you interact with other people, that way when you do finally get to talk to us you won't get tongue tied and make yourself look silly.

If you have a child, come to stage door. If its your child's wish to meet the performers then we are more than happy to inspire them.

However middle aged women and dirty old men trying to get a cuddle is just plain odd.

And the golden rule, we are not and NEVER will be, your friends.

Thanks for listening x

And to all you lovely "equity minimum" ensemble members out there:

Don't smoke at stage door
Don't moan about the stars of the show
Don't think being able to sing "Bella Signora" in the warm up means you could handle a solo.
Don't moan about fans, just because you haven't got any yourself
Don't be too upset when you come rushing out at the end, but go unnoticed by all the fans
Don't worry: if a fan is talking to you after the show, they're just killing time before the real stars emerge.

And for every ensemble member that fancies a quick moan, just remember there's a nice warm chair at Ticketmaster waiting for you when your contract ends and it's not renewed.
