I was wondering how tikcet sales are for this?

I notice its just extended another 3 months, is that not quite a small extension comapared to some of the extensions it has made in the past?

Is it on its last legs??

ive been thinking its due to close soon, i thought that due to the increased publicity that they have been doing of late trying to draw last few drops of good blood! i think it needs to tour!
This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.

Being a huge Poppins fan, I can't believe the Lion King is still playing, while Mary has said goodbye... OK, it is spectacular and people go to see it because of the film, but I think Mary Poppins was a superior show. I even think that "Beauty and the Beast" was better.

i dunno... I've see all three and I have to say Lion King was the best of the three... but then again I was only about 6 when I saw Beauty and the Beast... and Mary Poppins was incredible. I would have loved them all to stay in the West End to be honest and I really hope the Lion King doesn't end soon... but it would be great if it toured.

Heard a guy on BBC local radio last week say that there's a rumour going round that Lion King may close in favour of The Little Mermaid.
Any thoughts?

This has long been rumoured. However, given that they've just commisioned a complete remake of one of the biggest costume sets for the show (which really isn't cheap and doesn't happen with every single cast change) it seems a bit odd.

The new costumes could also be worn in an extensive tour, i can imagine the show being very similar to chitty in its length for each run when on tour.
