from playbill.com - how come the u.s. sites get information before he u.k. based whatsonstage?

Our House, an original musical based on the music of Brit-pop eighties band Madness that was seen in the West End in 2002 and won the 2003 Olivier Award for Best Musical, is hitting the road in June.

The tour will open at Birmingham's Repertory Theatre June 3 (following previews from May 29), where it will run to June 21. The production will then move on to Stoke-on-Trent, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bromley, Bradford, Milton Keynes and Wimbledon, with further cities to be announced after that.

Our House will star Steve Brookstein, the winner of the first-ever series of U.K. television's "X-Factor" in 2004, making his stage debut playing Dad. Following his decisive victory with two-thirds of the public vote, he went on to release a No. 1 single "Against All Odds," and his debut album "Heart and Soul" sold 250,000 copies. In 2006, he released his second album "40,000 Things."

Featuring such famous Madness songs as "My Girl," "Baggy Trousers," "House of Fun" and "It Must Be Love", Our House tells the story of 16-year-old Joe, in love for the first time, and the fateful day when something happens to tear his world in two.

The new production reunites the original West End creative team who staged the first production at the Cambridge Theatre. The director is Matthew Warchus, currently represented by his West End productions of The Lord of the Rings and Speed-the-Plow and the Broadway-bound transfer of Boeing-Boeing; the designer is Rob Howell (The Lord of the Rings); and the choreographer is Peter Darling (Billy Elliot).

Steve Brookstein?????? Oh dear. I hope he can live up to what is a great show. I don't usually criticise before a show even opens, but must admit to being very apprehensive about this piece of casting.
The best of times is now,
Now, not some forgotten yesterday.
Now, tomorrow is too far away
