Has anyone seen this yet? It's had some good reviews in The Stage and Timeout. Apparently, they're doing the Bernadette Peters version. I've never been to the Union but I've heard it's quite small - wonder how they're doing such a big show? Did anyone see If I sing? It's the same creative team I think.

Spoke to someone the other night who had just been to see it and said it was fantastic.

I really don't like the new version. The original was great as it was and yes, it may not be perfectly PC in these days, but it's a musical set hundreds of years ago!!!

And they cut 'i'm an indian too' which is a great song!!

Bring back the original!!!

What are you talking about - this production is what theatre is all about!!! You need to get out more and get off your imaginary high horse!!!

For anyone who hasn't seen 'Annie get your gun' Go see it ASAP it's not to be missed the reviews in The Stage etc. are on the nail - I see a lot of theatre and little is out there at the moment to top this show!!! - Transfer it to the West End!

thats because its an industry paper - it would loose a lot of readership if it started giving real reviews!
This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.

Regardless of what The Stage write- this is a fantastic show. I went off the back of the critics choice in TimeOut.

Worth seeing just for Vanessa Barmby as Annie- impeccable.

I'd agree!!! She was fantastic - can't wait to see her headlining a show in the West End
