I finally got to see Joseph on Saturday. It was ok as far as it goes. Not as bad as some people had told me but far from the fantastic experience that I've heard from others. I'm caught in between. I think it's entertaining and has a decent leading man and a brilliant supporting cast, apart from the Narrator, whom I didn't care for. I found the pre-recorded megamix overamplified and quite badly mimed by a few cast members, but overall it was a fine night out.
A little girl, about 8 years old, was seating behind me and was very upset. Her mum explained that she, the little girl, was devastated to learn that Lee Mead was dating Denise van Outen. She was heartbroken. Bless her.
