As soon as Cheno was confirmed I booked. Me and my friend are going on the last performance. Very excited, love the music from Candide.

This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.

I'm buying the £21 tickets in the balcony. I think the last night is more expensive anyway. But tbh I don't mind paying that for seats in the gods, Opera is expensive!

After much debate we decided to go for the top priced seats - the difference between sitting four rows from the stage and sitting right at the back of the circle seemed worth the £15 or whatever the difference was.

I would be must more comfortable about having forked out for the highest price seats (which, incidentally, seem to be cheaper for the opening night than all the others) if ENO would officially announce Kristin themselves. Or, at the very least, place her on the cast list for Candide.
