As I look at this website most days, I really do not need to receive these newsalerts in my Inbox several times a day, and have to delete them as soon as they appear. I have written a couple of times to WOS to have my name taken off their list for these, but still they appear on a daily basis. There is not the usual "opt out" message that I can use, so I am stuck with them.

In my opinion anyone interested in improving himself should not rule out becoming pure energy.

I think the first post referred to the Updates received by Club Members?

That's right Biddy. And still they come pouring in every day like a cloud of mosquitos.

Hi Tintin

You control this feature as a Club member. If you log in via the membership page here -
http://www.whatsonstage.com/index.php?pg=235

Once logged in, click on the link for "Preferences" beneath your Member Details -
http://www.whatsonstage.com/index.php?pg=2...ion=preferences

There you'll see a drop-down for News Notifications. It sounds like you're receiving Instant ones (in other words, whenever new editorial content is added, which is quite often!). You can change this to Daily, so it will have a list of all the new stories/reviews etc added at the end of each day, or None at all. On this page, you can also control your subscription to the Newsletter and Offers lists.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Terri Paddock
Editorial Director

Many thanks, Terri. This has now been dealt with. It is not the actual receiving of these newsalerts that I was complaining about, but that there were so many coming in every day.

Sorry to be such a Grumpy Old Man.
