Before I go completely mad can someone PLEASE tell me how to select PART of a quote when replying to a post rather than the whole thing. I have seen that it can be done but I'm f****d if I can work out.

what you are quoting comes up in the reply text box. you just delete the bits of text you don't want to use.

Also, make sure you don't delete the [ quote ... ] and [ /quote ] parts in the process.
