Hello there, my first post after being a long time lurker so here goes ... I am interested in the Spamalot - Family Friendly Fridays and to check out if anyone has taken their children to the Friday night, early evening show? I have a 6 and 7 year old, both boys, and they are used to going to the theatre when the funds allow and are well versed in how to behave so I have no issue with them sitting still and being quiet, I just wondered if anyone thought the show was suitable for children this young? I know the theatre are advertising this as from ages 5 through to 15 for the children but some feedback from people who have seen the show would be welcome.

Thanks

Paul

Spamalot does have an age recommendation but that's because there are the obvious monty python rude jokes, bad laguage and some scantially dressed ladies at one point. All ages do come to see the show though so if those don't wory you then take advantage of this offer as its probably the best in the west end for those with children! but a word of advice... sit in the dress circle if you have small children, so they're not looking at the back of someones head!!
Go Go Go! It's a fantastic comedy at the end of the day!

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated, I think some of the more adult stuff will go over their heads, otherwise show and tell could be quite interesting when they go back to school.

Well we took my 8 year old sister to see Avenue Q and Spamalot is ALOT tamer than that. Then again everything in Avenue Q just went completely over her head.

Spamalot is not inappropriate in content for youngsters i don't think, just they might not get all of the humour from it. Still with the prices its a bargain and an amazing night out!
