Personally I think he looks great! (and barely recognisable!)

I'm disappointed that there's not much difference in size between him and Mel Smith but am sure that won't affect the performance!

Looks really different less recognisable than John Travolta was in the film. Michael in his padding will be a lot bigger than Mel Smith, as the father's size is no specific compared to the mother and daughter then it doesn't really matter as there is no direct reference to it in the story.

Yeah - won't make a difference to the story... I guess I'm just used to seeing a difference in size in the film and Broadway Production that's all!

Wow those photos are amazing!

I bet it's gonna be really hot under all those layers for Mr Ball - but then I'm sure he's used to it after playing Count Fosco in WIW.

Can't wait to see more production shots and roll on the opening in October! laugh.gif

laugh.gif Looks absolutely fantastic!

I heard a whisper, however, that the London production will be similar to the version TOURING the US, and not the sit down Broadway or Toronto productions. This is in order to reduce costs should it not be a success and to facilitate a UK tour.

Can anyone confirm this? I'd be disappointed if it were true.

I heard about this as well, i am not sure if they are true, but if it is, it will not be the first broadway trnasfer that has done this

Does anyone else look at the picture and think 'Oooh, it's a fat Elaine Paige'?
I won't be called a baggage!

Don't see E.P myself smile.gif

That solo picture is brilliant. The Edna/Wilbur one is good to, they look like they are going to work very well together. I've seen a nice family shot attached to an article about Leanne Jones.
