Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know about a great cabaret night that I am involved in called West End Karaoke. It is a fundraiser for Wild Oats Productions upcoming UK Premiere of Lilies. It features performers from the West End belting out their favourite songs. It will be an informal fun evening. It is taking place at The George and Dragon in Greenwich from 9:00-late on Monday 20th August.
Performers include:
Robert Archibald (Les Miserable, Batboy, Ragtime)
Verity Quade (The Soung of Music, Jerry Springer)
Shona White (Wicked, Rocky Horror)
AJ O'Neil (Chicago)
Daniel Paige (Billy Elliot)
Nicole Faraday (premiering a song from Bad Girls the Musical)
Betsy Pennington (Footloose, Over the Rainbow)
John Barr (Batboy, Ragtime)
Russell Whitehead (Scrooge, Voice of Musical Theatre)
Kevin James (Sunsets and Morning, I am Star Trek)
Nikki Gerrard (Victor/Victoria, Voice of Musical Theatre)
Manny Lipman (Sunsets and Mornings)

Did anyone go?
It was AMAZING. Jo Ampil was fantastic, if a little boring, Shona White was freaking awesome, she did 4 songs and was absolutely fantastic. Nicky Faraday and Betsy Pennington were really good too!

For me, the one that almost stole the show (if I wasn't such a big fan of Shona) was AJ O Neill from Chicago. He was phenomenal.
