Yes they do exist lol. They go on sale at 10 and are 20 pounds in the best seats they have available usually within the first two or threee rows and after 11 they stop selling day seats and all tickets go back to normal price if that makes sense. They are just 20 pounds for 1 hour only everyday for that days performance.hope this helps.

That's really good- unusual that there is not a limit on the number of day seats. I wonder if it's commercially viable though...

Yep any time between 10 and 11 the box office told me. It is quite a good idea to fill the house on the day. Although when i saw it last night the grand circle was practically empty.

I suppose it is a bit of a barn to have to fill every night. It must be a bit of a worry that they're struggling to fill the grand circle a week after opening night though (not even a week!).

I've heard that RUT expect the Theatre Royal to be available sooner rather than later - although there will be a gap before the next show to allow the stage to be restored to its pre-LOTR condition.
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist

It pains me to think that Drury Lane's stage has been ripped out for this show, only positive is that it appears that it won't be long until it is put back as the producers of this show must know that it will take a miracle for it to pay any of its investment back.

Just hope RUG have ensured they actually do have a significant amout of cash depositied with them to restore the stage back?

most of the new staging is fitted around existing grade one listed machinery, very little has been removed at all. would take them no more that a couple of weeks to remove the stage and restore it back to its pre lotr state. the set will probably take more time to dismantle lol
