Directors' assistant/ rehearsal DSM
Intern/voluntary position paying daily expenses rate only. April 5th - May 7th 2010

We are seeking to appoint a London based Directors' assistant/ rehearsal DSM to work on '3rd Ring Out' a touring performance taking place in 2 shipping containers that will open at the Norfolk and Norwich Festival in May. Using interactive voting technology the audience will decide the route of a narrative set in a climate changed future.

We are looking for an attentive, sharp individual to work with us in rehearsal - to keep track of all rehearsal changes and developments and ensure these are communicated to the whole creative team.

The role involves:

* making changes to the text as decisions are made in rehearsal

* keeping everyone up to date with script changes and development

* recording all actions decided on in rehearsal - whether sound, lighting, video or text

* writing up rehearsal notes at the end of the day with any changes/decisions made, and circulating these to the whole creative team by email

* creating a 'book' of the performance, that describes the final decisions made
