Well I got my tickets for The Little Mermaid in November - dead excited! Front row centre of mezzanine. Was surprised the Disney LM website gave out VISA card pre-sale details with the password - all to my advantage though. Had dreaded having to ring through on June 10th when tickets go on general sale. Was really pleased to get dead centre front row of balcony too, especially as it's Thanksgiving week! Might tr and see it twice once I'm oyt there if it's good.
Anyone else going to this? Or to Denver try-outs? I hope it's amazing like The Lion King and not a dud like Tarzan...

Cheers.

I saw it on Wednesday, and really liked it!

The set is extremely 'Disneyfied' and quite spectacular. I must say that Heidi Blickenstaff (Ursula), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (Sebastian) and Brian D'Addario (Flounder) completely rocked it, made the show for me. Sierra Boggess (Ariel) and Sean Palmer (Eric) were actually rather bland in comparison!

Two great performances by Ursula's two cronies also, Tyler Maynard (Flotsam) and Eric LaJuan Summer (Jetsam).

Loved all but two of the new songs. The times I found my attention straying were during the rather anti-climactic 'Her Voice', sung very competently by Palmer but just, well, a bit blughhh. And also 'One Step Closer' for the exact same reasons. (Forgive my inability to think of a suiting word!)

So overall, an extremely enjoyable evening, wouldn't think twice about another visit someday. smile.gif
