What?

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced, and passionate individuals to devise and act in a production of a play to tour across primary schools. The role also requires the facilitation of interactive workshops with primary school children.

How?

In the style of Forum Theatre and Interactive Storytelling

Audience?

Primary School Children

Why?
To promote the message of 'Change for Life' - a Primary Care Trust Healthy Eating campaign to promote health and well-being

Where?

2 shows per day at primary schools in the Oxfordshire Area

When?

Performances will take place between 10th - 21st May 2010

Actor
Essential:
-At least 1 years acting experience at a professional level
-Availability and commitment to 3 - 4 days of rehearsals and all performances
Desirable:
-An understanding of the ‘Change for Life’ Healthy Eating campaign
-Experience in acting in plays that are intended for children
-Experience in acting in plays in the style of Forum Theatre
-Experience in teaching and interactive storytelling
-Experience in running interactive workshops with primary school children
-A Candidate who lives in the Oxfordshire / Kent area
-Driving Licence and own transport

Actor
Essential:
-At least 1 years acting experience at a professional level
-Availability and commitment to 3 - 4 days of rehearsals and all performances

Director
Essential:
-At least 1 years directing experience at a professional level
-Experience in acting at a professional level
-Availability and commitment to 3 - 4 days of rehearsals and all performances

Desirable:

-Experience in devising and directing plays that are intended for children
-Experience in directing plays in the style of Forum Theatre
-Experience in running interactive workshops with primary school children
-Experience in teaching and interactive storytelling
-A Candidate who lives in the Oxfordshire / Kent area
-Driving Licence and own transport
