Technical staff support performance projects in the theatre and studio spaces. Theirexpertise covers all aspects of stage technology including lighting, sound, staging and
rigging. The inventory of items available for loan by the department includes portable sound and lighting rigs, access equipment and portable staging. There is also an
extensive collection of props held in store.

Staff will also provide skills workshops in
such areas as Portable Appliance Testing, soldering and Heath and Safety.

As a Production Technician you will be responsible for organising, maintainingand developing the technical resource of the School. As a member of the wider
team you will play an active part in the scheduling and planning of the School’s production activities.
